Client Centered Learning

People learn in different ways, at different speeds. If an individual likes to take time to reflect on their learning, is forced to move on to the next thing too quickly, it could slow down their progress. Likewise, if the person is a practical learner and is made to watch too many demonstrations without trying it out for themselves, they too will get frustrated

Testimonials

“I had attended John McArdle’s Streets Ahead Driving School of Motoring for my lessons leading up to my test. I would highly recommend any young learner looking for guidance. In comparison to other instructors I’ve had, his communication and the way he makes sure he gets his information across to you was 100 times better..”

Charles Gallen

“John worked so hard with me to pass my test. He really put the effort in, even going out of his way to find out what the route might be like at the new test centre. He was honest with me and told me what my bad habits were and helped me improve by working with me in a way that fit my learning style. He is a calm teacher yet gets the point across. Would definitely recommend him as a driving instructor and have referred my friends onto him.”

Gemma

“I had a highly positive experience with my instructor John. I recently passed my driving test with the 1st attempt, even though I didn’t have a personal car to practice in. I was anxious about the test but everything worked out because of the quality knowledge and preparation I was provided with. Really happy about my experience with Streets Ahead Driving School.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose Streets Ahead Driving School?

Driving is an important skill that many have to learn. One way to learn properly is to enroll in a driving school, which can provide good training to make you a safe driver. Your parents can teach you how to drive for free, but you cannot compare that to having a quality education from a professional instructor.

Taking driving lessons helps you be more confident and comfortable behind the wheel. You can enroll in Streets Ahead Driving School for EDT driving lessons, pretest lessons, refresher driving lessons, motorway driving lessons and lessons for nervous drivers. It’s safe, reliable and above all professional.

How do I book my lessons?

You can book your lessons HERE or simply contact us on 0876797208.

How many lessons will I need?

lf you have just obtained your learners permit you must complete 12 mandatory EDT (Essential Driver Training)  lessons. As we all learn new skills at a different pace, after your initial 12 lessons have been completed you (The Learner) and your instructor will review your progress and with shared agreement will decide on what further tuition is needed going forward.

How do I pay for my lessons?
You can pay for your lessons on this website with our online voucher payment or alternatively you can pay by Debit Card or Cash on the day of your lesson.
Can I use my own car?

If you are a new driver or have no previous experience it won’t be possible to use your car. Streets Ahead provide a dual controlled car for the tuition of new learners. This is to minimise the risk to the learner, instructor and other road users. This also is a benefit to the learner as it provides a safe and relaxing environment for tuition. When you become a competent and safe driver you can use your car for lessons and for your test.
